Main Ring Attractions

Thanks must go to our Sponsors who have kindly contributed to sponsorship of the Main Ring which has a huge pull for the Show.

THE MAIN ATTRACTION FEATURE for 2026 will be KNIGHTS OF ALBION – Jousting Display

The Knights of Albion will joust their way in the main ring: 11.15 and again at 13.30.  Visitors can visit their stand in the main showfield during Show day.  This promises to be a colourful spectacle and something a bit different for visitors to the Show.

Timetable for the Main Ring commences with classes for Ridden Hacks & Hunters.

This is followed by a Parade of Vintage Tractors from South Hams Vintage Club Members.

The ever popular Terrier Racing has two slots this year; the first being at midday.

Light Horse Championship makes a return to the main ring.

And there will be the thrilling Pony Club Games and displays in the afternoon.

 

MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT

Kindly organised by Ben Carr, sees the return of Fionas Fancy Feet dancing group;

Charlie Blackwood

Caromatic Duo

And Benny Guitar Carrs ALLSTARS to round of the day.

 

Visitors can have fun with Sporty Stars inflatable football, darts and axe throwing.  Located in the area of the main showground where the livestock would have been.

 

Unfortunately, with the worsening situation of blue tongue disease, the risk to hold sheep and cattle competitions was too great for the farm on which the Show is held as well as the many exhibitors who travel from Devon, Somerset and Cornwall.  Hopefully, we will see the return of livestock to the Show in 2027.

The Show acknowledges and thanks members of South Hams Vintage Ralley with their tractor display.

The Show is delighted to welcome the return of classic cars which will be located in the entry field to the main showfield.

• Horse competitions
• Horticulture & Homecraft including Floral Art, Childrens’ Arts and Crafts competitions.
• Young Farmers competition and Corn/Fleece classes in the Arable & YFC Marquee.
• Country Scene Marquee where you can find Children’s Pets as well as demonstrations by The South Hams Spinning Group and The Weaving Loft Group.
• Catering Outlets
• Licensed Bar.

Show Programmes will be available on the day with confirmed timetable of judging and main events.
