Main Ring Attractions

Thanks must go to our Sponsors who have kindly sponsored the Main Ring which has a huge pull for the Show.

2025 welcomes The BMX Show

 

Timetable for the Main Ring commences with classes for Ridden Hacks & Hunters.  This is followed by a Parade of Vintage Tractors from South Hams Vintage Club Members.

 

The ever popular Terrier Racing has two slots this year.

Grand Parade of Livestock and Horses,

Pony Club Games and a second Parade by the South Hams Vintage Club to round off the main ring entertainment.

 

LIVE MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT features the following artists for 2025:

• • Local slide guitar ‘funky rock blues player‘ Ben Carr
  • Local group ‘A Little Mischief ‘
  • Louise Parker, Jazz and soul performer from Plymouth
  • A display from Fiona’s Fancy Feet Dancing Group
  • A display from Kingsbridge Gymnastics Club

 

Other Show Attractions include:

• Livestock and Horse Sections.
• Horticulture & Home craft Marquee including Floral Art, Childrens’ classes and a Scarecrow Competition which will be open to schools and childrens’ groups only – see Schedule of Entries/Showing scene for details.
• Young Farmers classes in the Arable & YFC Marquee.
• Country Scene Marquee includes Children’s Pets competitions for rabbits etc.  Entries online.  The opportunity to get up close to donkeys, sheep and goats.  Demonstrations by The South Hams Spinning Group, The Weaving Loft Group, and other rural skills.
• Trade Stands, Craft Marquee and the Food & Drink Tent.
• Catering Outlets and licensed Bar.

Show Programmes will be available on the day with confirmed timetable of judging and main events.
